A sample transport programme for tour operators and DMCs combining Paris, Normandy, Mont-Saint-Michel and the Loire Valley. The itinerary below illustrates a possible coach sequence; it is not a packaged holiday sold by France Prestige Travel.
Sample 8-day routing
- Day 1 — CDG → Paris: group arrival, luggage loading and transfer to the hotel.
- Day 2 — Paris: sightseeing and programme movements according to your guide and visit schedule.
- Day 3 — Paris → Rouen → Honfleur → Caen/Bayeux area: regional touring with timed stops.
- Day 4 — Normandy: D-Day beaches, Bayeux or another supplied Normandy programme.
- Day 5 — Normandy → Mont-Saint-Michel → Saint-Malo area: touring sector with visit timing and coach access reviewed in advance.
- Day 6 — Saint-Malo → Loire Valley: onward transfer to the Loire region.
- Day 7 — Loire Valley: château programme according to reservations and coach access.
- Day 8 — Loire Valley → Paris / CDG: return to Paris or airport departure according to flight time.
Operational review
Hotel locations, visit reservations, loading time, luggage, coach parking, driving and rest requirements all affect the final routing. The programme is therefore reviewed before commitment, particularly where early departures or long regional sectors are involved.
For recurring series
Send all planned departures together where possible. A repeated itinerary can then be studied consistently across the season while accounting for hotel changes, passenger numbers and date-specific constraints.
